Using design systems that emphasize readability, accessibility, and content clarity, Just Holistics encourages users to engage confidently. Whether it’s a patient sharing their journey or a practitioner offering insights, the platform respects all voices. The result is a socially vibrant space that promotes collaboration, education, and collective well-being.
Problem
In the wellness space, patients and practitioners often lack a centralized space to exchange ideas, experiences, and expertise freely. Traditional platforms like Reddit or Facebook support fragmented conversations, while health-focused apps are usually closed or overly clinical. There was a need for a space that blends freedom of expression, community-driven content, and health-oriented purpose—without compromising usability or connection.
Solution
Just Holistics is a hybrid platform that brings together the best of community forums, social networking, and long-form publishing. Designed for both practitioners and patients, users can post, interact, and share protocols, articles, or ideas in an open, respectful environment. Inspired by platforms like Reddit and Substack, the interface is structured to support both quick conversations and in-depth posts, encouraging meaningful engagement while keeping it simple and accessible.
Concept
The concept behind Just Holistics is rooted in the idea that healing isn’t one-way—it’s a conversation. By blending the social features of Facebook and Reddit with the publishing depth of Substack, I designed a space where users can connect as people, not just profiles. Visual hierarchy, minimal distraction, and community-centered structure were prioritized to make the experience feel familiar, empowering, and trustworthy.
